Summary
Han So‑yeon, an assistant manager at a South Korean eyewear company, is professionally accomplished yet lives in relative isolation due to prosopagnosia, a neurological condition that impairs her ability to recognise faces. Her routine is disrupted when she encounters Holo, an advanced artificial intelligence with a human‑like holographic interface.
The true architect of Holo is Go Nan‑do, a reclusive technological prodigy who has lived covertly for a decade after staging his own death in the aftermath of a high‑profile hacking incident. As So‑yeon becomes increasingly involved with the AI, her life gradually intersects with Nan‑do’s, drawing both individuals into a narrative centred on solitude, identity, and the emergence of an unexpected emotional connection.
