Summary
Yang Xiao Zhu, a junior employee in a corporate setting, unexpectedly becomes the executive assistant to Zhu Xiao Yang, the demanding president of a colour‑light manufacturing enterprise whose workday begins at six o’clock each morning. Following a professional error that results in her stern dismissal, Yang Xiao Zhu encounters an unusual sight in the company restroom: a small, docile pig.
The next morning, she awakens to discover that the pig which had slept beside her has transformed into the unclothed company president. Zhu Xiao Yang reveals that he is subject to a nightly metamorphosis, turning into a pig after sunset, and that the condition can only be broken by a kiss from his true love. In a state of confusion yet guided by her fundamentally kind nature, Yang Xiao Zhu accepts a request from Zhu’s mother to pursue a romantic relationship with him, leading the pair into an improvised cohabitation arrangement.
As they navigate the competitive pressures of the business world, their relationship gradually deepens. However, the reappearance of Bai Yue Guang, Zhu Xiao Yang’s unrequited love from his university years, unsettles Yang Xiao Zhu and casts doubt on her place in his affections. Compounding her uncertainty, several attempts at the transformative kiss fail to break the spell. This raises the question of whether Zhu Xiao Yang’s true love might not be her after all.
