Summary
The narrative depicts a group of individuals who possess distinct supernatural abilities, including telepathy, precognition, electrokinesis, telekinesis and invisibility.
At the centre of the story is Wei Yi‑chen, who awakens to discover that a series of continuously mutating genes have endowed him with superhuman powers. Through physical contact, specifically by touching another person’s face, he is able to discern their thoughts. Wei Yi‑chen soon realises, however, that his remaining abilities are diminishing. These powers have, in fact, transferred to others: Nan Ruo‑yi acquires the capacity to generate and manipulate electricity, while Duan Mu Hao inherits the ability to foresee future events.
Together, these developments reveal an interconnected system of genetic mutation and power transference, linking the characters through abilities that evolve, shift and reassign themselves over time.
