Summary
Mystery Island centres on the schemes of Dr. Strange, a deranged scientist intent on achieving world domination. To realise his plan, he seeks to acquire the advanced computer memory of P.A.U.P.S., a highly sophisticated robot. When a plane transporting P.A.U.P.S. passes near his island stronghold, Dr. Strange uses a projector‑ray device to force the aircraft down. Aboard the plane are P.A.U.P.S., pilot Chuck Kelley, computer scientist Sue Corwin, and her younger brother Sandy.
The series follows Dr. Strange’s repeated attempts to capture P.A.U.P.S. and Chuck, while Sue and Sandy work to thwart his efforts and find a means of escaping the island. Each episode focuses on the group’s ongoing struggle against Dr. Strange’s elaborate traps and schemes, as well as their attempts to protect P.A.U.P.S. from falling into his hands.
