Summary
Wonder Woman is portrayed as having withdrawn to Paradise Island following the conclusion of the Second World War. Her retirement ends when a plane carrying Steve Trevor Jr. , who bears a strong resemblance to his father , crashes on the island. Determining that the outside world once again requires her intervention, she chooses to accompany him back to the United States.
Upon his return, Steve is subjected to hypnotic conditioning that erases his memories of Paradise Island and leads him to believe that Diana Prince is merely his newly assigned assistant. Steve Jr. serves as an operative of the Inter-Agency Defense Command (IADC), a United States intelligence organisation overseen by Joe Atkinson. The agency’s data infrastructure is centred on IRAC, a computer system that has deduced the true identity of Wonder Woman and established that she and Diana Prince are the same individual.
