Summary
Night Gallery, formally titled Rod Serling’s Night Gallery, was an American anthology television series that only occasionally entered the domain of science fiction. Its principal thematic territory lay in the occult, the supernatural, and horror, reflecting the darker imaginative interests of its creator, Rod Serling, who had earlier developed Twilight Zone, the.
Each segment was introduced by Serling from within an art gallery setting, where he presented a painting that symbolically represented the forthcoming narrative,a moment of nightmare frozen on canvas. Of the approximately one hundred stories produced, Serling authored roughly one‑third, and the series regularly employed prominent Hollywood talent both behind and in front of the camera.
