Summary
Two distinct extra-terrestrial species initiated a covert strategy to infiltrate Earth by assuming control of human bodies, employing a process comparable to permanent corporeal possession. The more aggressive of the two species demonstrated no hesitation in occupying living hosts, subsuming and assimilating the personalities of the individuals they overtook.
In contrast, the second species adopted a markedly different approach, restricting its possession to the bodies of humans who had recently died. Once reanimated, these hosts exhibited enhanced physical capabilities that bordered on the superhuman; however, their immune systems remained critically compromised. This vulnerability was exploited when it was discovered that the ingestion of a particular plant seed was sufficient to trigger germination within the host body, ultimately destroying the alien organism residing within.
