Summary
Abner Bevis, creator of the long‑running superhero Captain Justice, faces declining sales and creative stagnation, prompting the comic’s owners to consider cancelling the strip. This crisis manifests within the fictional realm of Pleasantville, where Justice becomes aware that his adventures are repetitive and that the world around him is beginning to fade.
