Summary
Parallel World Love Story follows Gao Zirui, a pilot whose brainwaves are transported into an alternate reality after an accident in an underground laboratory disrupts space‑time. In this parallel world, social norms differ markedly from those he knows, prompting Zirui to navigate unfamiliar expectations and cultural structures.
There he encounters Xiao Xiao, formerly his secretary in his original world, who in this reality is a prominent and assertive scientist named Jacky. Zirui becomes employed under Jacky as he attempts to understand the circumstances of his displacement. Their interactions initiate a broader conflict shaped by differing social conventions and personal histories. To return home, Zirui must unravel the mystery of the accident while pursuing a complex emotional connection that may hold the key to restoring his original life.
