Summary
At 8:23 on an otherwise unremarkable morning, a commuter train travels toward the city centre. Most passengers occupy themselves with their smartphones, browsing social media feeds or watching online videos, assuming the day will unfold in its usual manner.
Without warning, one of the train’s carriages is abruptly transported to a desolate future world. The passengers find themselves in an environment where smartphones, and the digital networks that once defined daily life , are rendered entirely useless. By circumstance or fate, the individuals aboard the displaced carriage are compelled to undertake a struggle for survival in an unfamiliar and inhospitable landscape.
