Summary
The series centres on Flynne Fisher, a young woman striving to preserve the stability of her fractured family in a marginalised region of near‑future America. In this environment, emerging technologies have begun to exert subtle yet transformative influences on social structures and everyday life.
Fisher possesses a notable aptitude for virtual reality gaming, and, facing financial strain while caring for her ailing mother, Ella, she is persuaded to test an advanced experimental headset.
