Summary
The series is an anthology adaptation of a comic book of the same title, presenting independent narratives that explore speculative and often satirical themes. In Boxed In, a pilot has spent two years confined within a deteriorating fighter aircraft, accompanied only by an android mechanic designed to resemble a doll. Throughout his isolation he remains faithful to his fiancée, Dulcine, the daughter of an admiral. Upon his return, he discovers that the admiral has fitted her with an electronic chastity device intended to ensure her continued fidelity.
In Given the Heir, a woman undergoes extensive bodily reshaping to achieve an idealised form. She subsequently participates in an experimental procedure that transports her ten years into the past, where she meets a man who demands absolute physical perfection. Although she fulfils his expectations, he ultimately fails to recognise or value the transformation she has undertaken.
