Summary
Grob and Meeba are two extra-terrestrial schoolchildren who inadvertently crash their galactic transport vehicle into the studios of Earth’s Channel 9. Upon encountering them, a television producer misidentifies the pair as performers in elaborate costumes intended for a segment on her children’s programme. Their unexpected appearance proves popular with viewers, leading to their appointment as the show’s hosts and a subsequent rise in audience ratings.
Two local children, Rodney and Lucy Green, eventually uncover Grob and Meeba’s true origins. The siblings assist the aliens in avoiding public exposure while they work to repair their damaged vehicle and prepare for their return to their home world.
