Summary
A prophecy preserved within an ancient vessel foretells that the true name of God will be revealed through the birth of a child in the final year of the millennium. According to this prophecy, the sacred name will be inscribed upon the body of an infant born in the new world to a virgin maiden, Ariana (Carina Zampini), and a man described as being in the prime of his strength. In the present day, this man, Paul (Adrián Suar), opens a second vessel and is endowed with extraordinary abilities intended to safeguard both Ariana and the prophesied child from any forces seeking to obstruct the revelation of the divine name.
Concurrently, the Spanish inquisitor Julián De la Serna (Alfredo Alcón), who has endured since the sixteenth century in pursuit of divine power, seeks to obtain the sacred name for his own purposes. To advance his ambitions, he aligns himself with Satan, receiving assistance from demonic emissaries who conceal their true nature beneath human disguises.
