Summary
During the migration of a large Earth, based space colony into deep space, the Power Rangers are propelled into an uncharted region known as the Lost Galaxy, a remote expanse inhabited by powerful and hostile alien forces. To defend the colony from these threats, the Rangers employ Transmorphers to summon their Zords, each taking the form of an armoured beast. Together, this team and their mechanized units work to ensure the colony’s survival and safeguard Earth’s interests beyond known space.
In a distant future, on a remote planet, a young woman and her people study the legendary Quasar Swords, only to be attacked by villains seeking to claim them. At the same time, three soldiers aboard a space station prepare for departure, while events on Earth converge toward the same destination. A teenager, denied boarding at the station’s airport, intervenes in an attempted theft and is encouraged by an elderly woman to join the new colony. He subsequently stows away on a transport to the station.
After being pursued through the station, he collides with two of the soldiers, disguises himself in a uniform, and boards a shuttle bound for a lunar training mission. During the exercise, he saves one of the soldiers from an imminent explosion. A portal then opens between the moon and the distant planet, setting the stage for the Rangers’ entry into the Lost Galaxy.
