Summary
Twenty years earlier, a parallel magical dimension was engulfed in the Great Battle, a conflict in which the Mystic Wizards repelled an invasion by the forces of darkness. Led by the powerful wizard Leanbow, the defenders succeeded in banishing the enemy to the Underworld, though Leanbow was lost when he remained behind the sealed gate to ensure the containment of the evil. The human world remained unaware of both the battle and the sacrifice that preserved its safety.
In the present day, an earthquake in Briarwood weakened the ancient seal, enabling the Underworld’s forces to resume their attempt to invade. The sorceress Udonna enlisted five local teenagers, Nick, Chip, Madison, Vida, and Xander, to become the Mystic Force Power Rangers. After Udonna’s powers were stolen by the warrior Koragg, the Rangers continued the defence of Earth with assistance from Clare, Jenji, and Daggeron, the Solaris Knight.
Combining magical abilities with martial skill, the Mystic Force Power Rangers work collectively to prevent the resurgence of the Underworld’s master, Octomus, and to safeguard the human realm.
