Summary
Three years before the events of the series, a self‑aware computer virus known as Venjix infiltrates and overrides the world’s digital infrastructure, collapsing global communication networks and deploying vast armies of robotic drones. The ensuing assault devastates human civilisation, leaving the domed city of Corinth as the last secure refuge. Protected by an energy barrier and surrounded by Venjix’s forces, entry into Corinth becomes extremely difficult, with only sporadic groups of survivors able to reach the city.
Within Corinth, Dr. K develops the RPM Ranger technology to counter Venjix’s expanding threat. When the city’s defensive shield is periodically lowered to admit refugees, the RPM Power Rangers engage Venjix’s forces, working to preserve the final human stronghold and prevent the virus from achieving total domination.
