Summary
The series, described by American critics as National Enquirer television and promoted as being inspired by real events, dramatized investigations conducted under the United States Air Force’s Project Blue Book. Major Jake Gatlin and his colleague, Sergeant Harry Fitz, were tasked with examining reports of unidentified flying objects deemed to possess both high strangeness and high credibility across the United States.

In The Rock and Hard Place Incident, Gatlin and Fitz themselves experienced a sighting, further complicating their investigations.
