Summary
After an alleged UFO landing near Truskasy in the Warmia region, two men, a fading television personality and an enthusiast of extra-terrestrial phenomena, undertake an intellectual investigation into the origins of the purported visitors. Their inquiry gradually draws a wide circle of acquaintances and observers into an increasingly public debate. As both men attempt to persuade the broader public of their competing interpretations, a prominent political figure capitalises on the surrounding paranormal claims to consolidate authority and extend his influence over national affairs.
