Summary
Following the death of her teenage son, a legal separation from her husband, and a growing estrangement from her daughter, Dr. Carolyn Tyler is approached by Ivan Turing, a terminally ill billionaire and technology entrepreneur. Turing persuades her to investigate a series of purported supernatural phenomena, including reincarnation accounts, near‑death experiences, and alleged hauntings, in the hope of discovering empirical evidence that death may not represent a definitive end.
