Summary
After the death of his adoptive father, Neşet, Istanbul shopkeeper Hakan Demir learns that he is the last surviving member of an ancient secret order charged with safeguarding the city. He is compelled to assume his hereditary role as the Protector, a figure destined to confront and ultimately destroy the Immortal, whose survival threatens the city’s continued existence.
Hakan’s efforts are supported by Kemal and his daughter Zeynep, members of the clandestine organisation known as the Loyal Ones, who are devoted to guiding and assisting the Protector in fulfilling his obligations.
