Summary
Heita is portrayed as an ordinary high‑school student distinguished by his gentle disposition and general indifference toward romantic relationships. His routine is disrupted by the arrival of a transfer student designated Q10 (pronounced kyu‑to, echoing the English word cute), a humanoid robot constructed to resemble a teenage girl. Their interactions inadvertently generate a series of disturbances within the school environment, and Heita gradually develops emotional attachment to Q10 despite her artificial nature.
