Summary
The titular hero, portrayed as a peace‑loving alien from Planet Red in the Red Nebula, has nevertheless acquired a reputation among fans for the pronounced aggression he displays in combat. This contrast between his stated nature and his on‑screen behaviour has led to the fan nickname Red Phantom Killer . Redman’s original narrative premise, consistent with several other Tsuburaya Kyodai Heroes, depicts him as an incorporeal extra-terrestrial who escapes the destruction of Planet Red and subsequently bonds with Officer Sakomizu of the Scientific Investigation Agency (SIA). Together, they defend Earth from malevolent spirits capable of resurrecting defeated monsters.
