Summary
Humanity experiences the largest mass migration in its history when three billion individuals from the future arrive in the present day, seeking refuge from an impending global catastrophe: a lethal mutation of a common cold virus. Upon arrival, all refugees are required to adhere to two strict regulations: they must not disclose information about the future, and they must avoid any contact with their ancestral families.
The sudden appearance of this vast population affects communities worldwide, including the Cruz family. The series focuses on Samuel, Emma, and their young daughter Ani, whose lives are irrevocably altered following the arrival of a mysterious refugee named Alex. Possessing a mission of exceptional significance, Alex becomes a catalyst for profound change within the family. His determination to fulfil his objective leads him to disregard the established rules, setting in motion events that reshape their existence.
