Summary
Zhang Qi is an ordinary thirty-year-old man whose life has been marked by failure and disappointment. Having lost confidence in himself, he unexpectedly acquires a mysterious space-time mailbox capable of sending letters from the present into the past and altering the course of history. Armed with this extraordinary ability, Zhang Qi begins using the mailbox to reshape his fate and improve the lives of those around him.
As he explores the possibilities of changing the past, Zhang Qi rescues his female boss from tragedy and takes advantage of his knowledge of the future to publish Dream of the Red Chamber, one of China's Four Great Classical Novels, ahead of its time. Through a series of increasingly ambitious interventions, he transforms both his own life and the world around him while confronting the consequences of rewriting history.
