Summary
In this reimagining of two classical love narratives, Romeo embodies the maxim that “those who bring light to others do not invite darkness upon themselves,” pursuing love in defiance of entrenched familial hostility. Zhu Yingtai, guided by the conviction that love has never abandoned me, remains constrained by the longstanding conflict between the influential Luo and Zhu families.
