Summary
Rounin depicts an elite order of warriors residing in Lumeria, a city situated on a distant planet. Tasked with safeguarding the metropolis and its population from the hostile forces of Helion, known as the City of Death, the Rounin operate as highly specialised combatants, each trained in a distinct martial discipline. Their activities are overseen by the master Rounin, who serves both as the leader of Lumeria and the custodian of the group’s guiding tenets, including a strict prohibition against romantic attachment among members.
The narrative centres on Mythos, a young Rounin whose quest to uncover the truth of his past becomes integral to understanding his emerging identity and the larger fate of Lumeria. As he confronts external threats and internal conflicts, the series explores themes of duty, identity, and the burdens imposed by tradition.
