Summary
The narrative centres on the figure of Alonso Marroquín (Sergio Peris‑Mencheta), a notorious drug trafficker who escapes from a high‑security Mexican prison alongside his son, Lucas (Nery Arredondo). Their flight leads them to Paradiso, a secluded drug‑rehabilitation facility situated just across the United States border. Concurrently, the remains of experimental piglets, subjects of an unsuccessful U.S. military biotechnology initiative, are discarded near the frontier and subsequently reanimated as mutant zombies.
During the pursuit of Marroquín and his son, a Mexican special‑forces unit encounters these creatures and becomes infected, transforming into a militarised zombie contingent. Recognising the existential threat posed by this emergent species, the United States Army launches an operation aimed at their complete eradication.
