Summary
In Secret Invasion, set within the contemporary Marvel Universe, Nick Fury uncovers evidence of a covert plot by a renegade faction of shapeshifting Skrulls to infiltrate and ultimately conquer Earth. He assembles a small cadre of trusted allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill, and the Skrull operative Talos, who has established a life among humans, to counter the impending threat. Working against mounting time pressures, the group undertakes a series of operations aimed at preventing the Skrull incursion and safeguarding humanity.
