Summary
A severe accident leaves Shi Jian, aged thirty‑one, in a coma. During her unconscious state, she experiences a vivid dream in which she returns to her university years, initiating an alternate timeline in which she once again encounters her future husband, Ye Jia Cheng.
Prior to the accident, Shi Jian meets Yi Pei, the head of a trading enterprise, while travelling to visit Ye Jia Cheng. Their flight is struck by severe turbulence, causing Shi Jian to lose consciousness. Within her dream, she finds herself transported a decade into the past, reliving life as a university student.
After overcoming the initial disorientation, Shi Jian resolves to use her foreknowledge to alter key events. She begins early medical treatment for her mother’s illness and attempts to accelerate the circumstances that will eventually lead her to Ye Jia Cheng. As she observes Ye Jia Cheng’s life prior to their original meeting, Yi Pei develops romantic feelings for her within this reconstructed timeline. Despite numerous challenges, Shi Jian gradually discovers that happiness remains attainable; however, a catastrophic event threatens to undo the future she hopes to secure.
The narrative centres on whether Shi Jian can transcend the constraints of time and fate to achieve lasting fulfilment.
