Summary
Han Xi, a prominent novelist, intended to propose to his fiancée, Jiang Lai, during a public book‑signing event. The occasion was disrupted when he unexpectedly received a message from a former girlfriend who had previously died in a car accident. Overcome with grief, Han Xi subsequently found himself transported into a parallel timeline. This alternate reality exists two months ahead of the chronology of his original world. Within this environment, a mysterious diary establishes a connection between Han Xi and the present‑day Jiang Lai, suggesting a complex relationship between the two timelines. As the implications of the diary become apparent, Han Xi begins formulating a plan aimed at preventing the tragic events that shaped his past.
