Summary
Sense8 centres on the emergence of a psychic connection among eight individuals from diverse backgrounds and locations around the world. Their link is initiated, birthed, by a woman named Angelica, who subsequently takes her own life to avoid capture by a man known as Whispers. The eight individuals discover that they constitute a cluster of sensates: human beings capable of mental and emotional interconnection, allowing them to sense one another, communicate across distances, and share knowledge, languages, and specialised skills.
