Summary
Genius scientist Professor Kasuga, is a distinguished researcher who successfully develops a prototype photon‑propulsion rocket engine. Shortly after this breakthrough, he is assassinated by an extra-terrestrial species convinced that humanity must be prevented from advancing beyond a primitive level of military technology, fearing that such progress would inevitably lead to human expansion into space.
Following Kasuga’s death, his eldest son Koji (Shiba) assumes a leadership role among the professor’s five children. They soon discover that their father had covertly embedded the essential components of his photon‑engine research within their own bodies, ensuring the survival of the technology. Under the guidance of their new mentor, Professor Tsuhiyama (Kishida), the siblings are recruited into a broader effort to safeguard and ultimately realize their father’s scientific legacy.
