Summary
The programme consists of ten‑minute episodes presented in a slapstick comedy format aimed at a children’s television audience. Its principal characters, Snug and Cozi, are extra-terrestrials from the planet Squidge. During a journey through deep space, their pink rocket is struck by an asteroid and diverted from its course, resulting in an unintended crash landing on Earth.
The aliens are discovered by a young girl named Emily, who befriends them and conceals their presence by hiding them in the garden shed at the bottom of her garden. Snug and Cozi communicate in a language known as Squidge, which appears as unintelligible gibberish to humans, although occasional English words can be discerned.
