Summary
The Starhunter tribe travels between worlds, stealing planetary life‑energy and storing it in the sixth dimension through devices known as the King Medal. When the King Medal proved insufficient, they created the Knight Medal to increase their capacity. Intending to conquer Earth, they transported both medals, but the vessel carrying them was destroyed during terrestrial warfare over Siberia, forcing Starhunter to retreat and begin forging replacements.
One medal shattered into five fragments, later recovered by researchers led by Dr. Earth, while the intact medal was taken by Dr. Heart. After an explosion in Heart’s laboratory, the complete medal disappeared. Dr. Earth soon discovered that emerging monsters were humans mutated by the released medal energy.
In response, Dr. Earth developed the SportDetector to control the five fragments and engineered specialised suits that harnessed each fragment’s unique abilities. He entrusted these suits to five young fighters tasked with stopping the monsters and resisting Starhunter’s renewed invasion.
By the end of the first act, three of the Sport Rangers sacrifice themselves to destroy the enemy stronghold.
