Summary
One decade after most members of the Justice Society of America are killed by the Injustice Society, high‑school student Courtney Whitmore discovers Starman’s Cosmic Staff after moving to Blue Valley and learns that her stepfather, Pat Dugan, was Starman’s former sidekick. Confronting the surviving ISA, now including the Dragon King and his daughter Cindy Burman, Courtney adopts the mantle of Stargirl and recruits Yolanda Montez, Rick Tyler, and Beth Chapel to form a new generation of heroes.
In the second season, Stargirl’s team faces the return of former ISA member Shade and the emergence of Eclipso, who collaborates with Cindy to form a new faction called Injustice Unlimited. When Eclipso escapes Cindy’s control, the JSA gains new allies, including Jennie‑Lynn Scott, Jakeem Williams, Thunderbolt, Charles McNider, a revived Starman, and reformed ISA figures Solomon Grundy, Sportsmaster, and Tigress.
The third season centres on a murder mystery in Blue Valley after former ISA member Steven Sharpe is found dead and hidden surveillance cameras are discovered throughout the town. The investigation reveals that a regenerated Icicle is responsible, working alongside Ultra‑Humanite and a surviving Dragon King.
