Summary
Sawako, abandoned by her husband, has raised her three sons alone. She unexpectedly encounters a young man on the verge of death who is suffering from memory loss and, struck by immediate affection, names him Hoshio. Exploiting his amnesia, she brings him into her household and presents him as the children’s father.
Sawako, her sons, her grandmother, and Hoshio begin living together, with Sawako hoping he never recovers his past. As Hoshio develops feelings for her, he repeatedly assists her through difficulties using a mysterious ability. His origins remain unclear, forming a central mystery that is eventually revealed.
