Summary
Stitchers centres on Kirsten Clark, a young woman recruited into a covert government programme that enables operatives to be stitched into the memories of recently deceased individuals. The procedure is employed to investigate homicides and unresolved cases by accessing the final recollections of the victims. Kirsten’s work is supported by Dr. Cameron Goodkin, a gifted neuroscientist who oversees the technical aspects of the stitching process, and Maggie Baptiste, a seasoned covert operative who directs the programme.
The team further includes Linus Ahluwalia, a bioelectrical engineer and communications specialist responsible for the system’s operational integrity. Camille Engelson, Kirsten’s roommate and a graduate student in computer science, is subsequently enlisted as an additional stitcher. LAPD Detective Quincy Fisher later joins the unit after encountering Kirsten during an investigation, becoming a liaison between the programme and local law‑enforcement operations.
