Summary
In the first series, a mysterious visitor named Adam Suisse arrives in Australia seeking assistance on behalf of the inhabitants of his home planet, Soshuniss, who intend to migrate to Earth. He is befriended by siblings Bernie and Jean Walsh, whose father serves as headmaster of the local school, along with their friend Peter. Curious about Suisse’s extended excursions into the Blue Mountains, the trio follow him, ultimately discovering his true identity, encountering a fellow emissary named Varossa, and undertaking a journey of their own to Soshuniss.
At the outset of the sequel, the people of Soshuniss remain without a viable solution to their predicament and express dissatisfaction with the global response, particularly the reaction of the Press, to the visit of their emissaries. In an effort to compel further action, they detain Peter on Soshuniss. A peaceful resolution is eventually achieved, due in significant part to the intervention of the Australian Prime Minister.
