Summary
Street Fighter: Resurrection is a live‑action miniseries that continues the narrative established in Street Fighter: Assassin’s Fist, taking place approximately a decade after the earlier production. The story centres on Ken Masters and Ryu as they investigate the unexpected reappearance of Charlie Nash, a former comrade long presumed dead. Now operating with unclear motives, Nash has begun targeting prominent fighters, prompting concern among those familiar with his past.
Designed to align with the continuity of Street Fighter V, the series incorporates appearances from several characters associated with the game franchise, reinforcing its connection to the broader mythology. Noted for its emphasis on martial arts choreography and fidelity to established lore, Resurrection received a mixed critical reception. Reviewers praised its commitment to authenticity and its integration of game elements, while expressing reservations regarding the performances and production values, particularly in comparison with its predecessor.
