Summary
The narrative centres on twin sisters Sha‑sha and Tin‑tin, who possess the ability to transform into teenage superheroines known as Super S and Super T, respectively. Their transformation is activated by kissing specially crafted rings, through which they commit themselves to protecting human life and defending humanity against the malevolent figure Eliazar.
According to the story’s mythology, the rings are fashioned from a unique metallic stone that once formed the core of a fiery celestial entity known as santelmo (St. Elmo’s fire). This metallic core is said to contain the power of the sun, granting extraordinary abilities to anyone who possesses it. The santelmo eventually descended to Earth and split into two components: the metallic core and the surrounding ball of fire. The latter was seized by Eliazar, who, unable to withstand the full magnitude of its energy, nevertheless acquired significant powers. The metallic core, retaining the majority of the santelmo’s strength, came into the possession of Ester, who was pregnant with the twins. Her husband, Manuel, later forged the core into two rings, which he presented to Sha‑sha and Tin‑tin upon their seventh birthday.
The twins can transform only by reciting the incantation: Kapangyarihan ng Araw!, Taglay ay liwanag, Kambal na lakas, kami ang Super Twins (The Power of the Sun!, Contains light, Twin Powers, We are the Super Twins). As the narrative progresses, Eliazar seeks to expand his dominion and attempts to locate the metallic core in order to obtain its full power. This quest culminates in a series of confrontations between Eliazar and the twin heroines, forming the central conflict of the saga.
The storyline explores themes of mythic power, twin identity, and heroic transformation within a framework that blends fantasy, family dynamics, and moral struggle.
