Summary

Sam Collins is depicted as the lead member of a small garage‑based musical group known as Team Samurai, whose other members include Tanker, Amp, and Syd. Through an unforeseen technological accident, Collins is drawn into his computer’s digital environment, where he is transformed into Servo, a computer‑generated superhero tasked with combating hostile software entities within the system. Recognising the scale of the threat, Collins later enlists his fellow band members to form the Syber Squad, enabling them to confront digital adversaries that Servo alone cannot defeat.

The digital threats encountered by Servo and the Syber Squad originate from Kilokhan, an alien warlord who exists within computer systems and seeks to destroy the global information infrastructure. Kilokhan’s efforts are supported in the physical world by Malcom Frink, a technologically adept but socially isolated student at North Valley High, where Collins and his friends also study. Frink’s collaboration with Kilokhan provides the villain with access to real‑world systems, allowing him to generate increasingly sophisticated and destructive computer viruses.
