Summary
The emergence of the Machine Empire Black Magma prompts the United Nations to establish the Taiyo Sentai during an international summit. Drawing upon personnel from the Guardians of World Peace (GWP) air force, navy, and ranger divisions, Commander Arashiyama selects three specialists to form the combat unit known as Sun Vulcan. When Black Magma becomes aware of this initiative, it launches an assault on the GWP base; however, Sun Vulcan makes its operational debut in time to repel the attack.
Black Magma’s leader, Führer Hell Saturn, invokes the Black Solar God and receives a formidable ally: a resurrected Queen Hedrian, now reconstructed as a cyborg equipped with a mechanical heart and distinctive metallic afro. Despite Hedrian’s involvement, Black Magma’s successive schemes fail to overcome Sun Vulcan.
Following the destruction of operative 01, the organisation dispatches Amazon Killer, a member of the Vader clan, from space. Her arrival results in the annihilation of the original Sun Vulcan Base. In response, the GWP constructs a new operational headquarters to continue the defence against Black Magma’s escalating campaign.
