Summary
In this narrative, the structure of time is governed by twelve crystalline artefacts located at the Earth’s core. Their guardians, Coggs and Sprinks, inadvertently activate a control mechanism that releases the crystals from their containment, dispersing all twelve across different points in the temporal continuum. The pair are subsequently required to travel through time to recover each crystal before the end of 1999; failure to do so will result in the destruction of the universe.
To accomplish this task, Coggs and Sprinks enlist the assistance of viewers and children throughout the world, who are invited to help identify the locations of the missing artefacts. Their mission is mandated by Chronos, the appointed guardian of Earth’s temporal order.
