Summary
The narrative follows Lee Jin U, an investigative reporter known for his commitment to uncovering factual truth and presenting comprehensive accounts of the events he covers. Dedicated to pursuing accurate information regardless of difficulty, Jin U’s career takes an unexpected turn when he receives a mysterious telephone call from Seo Jeong In, a journalist who claims to be living five years in the future.
Jeong In is a determined and uncompromising reporter with a strong aptitude for identifying significant stories. Her investigations lead her to uncover a conspiracy with potentially far‑reaching national consequences. Central to this plot is her father, Seo Gi Tae, the President of South Korea, whose life is placed in imminent danger. As she attempts to prevent the unfolding crisis, Jeong In forms a cooperative relationship with Jin U, with whom she is inexplicably able to communicate across time.
Working from two distinct temporal points, Jin U and Jeong In collaborate to expose the conspiracy and prevent the planned attack. Their efforts form the basis of a cross‑temporal investigation in which both must navigate political intrigue, personal risk and the limitations imposed by their separation in time.
