Summary
Titans follows the young superheroes of the eponymous team as they confront criminal threats and emerging dangers across multiple American cities. Initially disbanded, the group gradually reforms as both original and new members unite to re‑establish the Titans and resume their crime‑fighting activities in Detroit, San Francisco, Gotham City, and Metropolis.
The first season introduces the core ensemble: former Batman protégé Dick Grayson, extra-terrestrial Kory Anders, empath Rachel Roth, and shapeshifter Garfield Logan. Dick is later revealed to be one of the original Titans, alongside half‑Amazon Donna Troy and vigilante partners Dawn Granger and Hank Hall. Subsequent recruits include Batman’s new protégé Jason Todd, assassin Rose Wilson, Kryptonian clone Conner Kent, and aspiring hero Tim Drake.
Season 1
Rachel seeks Dick’s protection from forces pursuing her, leading to the formation of an improvised team with Kory and Gar. The group discovers that Rachel is being targeted by her demonic father Trigon, who intends to enslave the world. The season also explores Dick’s attempt to sever ties with Batman and abandon the Robin identity, while Kory struggles with amnesia that obscures her true origins.
Season 2
Dick formally reconstitutes the Titans, training a new roster of Rachel, Gar, and Jason. Their return prompts the reappearance of the assassin Deathstroke, whose earlier conflict with the original team caused their dissolution. As Deathstroke seeks revenge, the Titans confront additional threats from Cadmus Laboratories and Kory’s sister Blackfire.
Season 3
The Titans relocate to Gotham City after Jason’s apparent murder. Dick works alongside Police Commissioner Barbara Gordon to protect the city. Jason’s resurrection under the influence of criminal mastermind Jonathan Crane forces the Titans to confront their former teammate as Crane attempts to destroy Gotham. The season also depicts Kory’s fraught reunion with Blackfire and the return of Donna Troy from the afterlife.
Season 4
During a visit to Metropolis, the Titans investigate the sudden death of Lex Luthor. They uncover an apocalyptic prophecy centred on Sebastian Sanger, son of Trigon, as the Church of Blood, led by Mother Mayhem, attempts to orchestrate Sebastian’s transformation into a world‑ending entity.
