Summary

Two Twisted is an Australian mystery‑drama anthology series that premiered on the Nine Network on 14 August 2006. Narrated by Bryan Brown, who also produced the earlier series Twisted Tales, the programme presents two self‑contained half‑hour stories per episode, each concluding with a twist ending. A further point of distinction is the presence of a deliberate link or thematic connection between the paired narratives.

The production adopted an open‑submission model for its writing pool, issuing a call for scripts from emerging writers. Approximately 2,400 entries were received, from which fourteen finalists were selected. Directors were chosen through a similar process, resulting in a mixture of established and early‑career filmmakers overseeing the individual segments. Each episode was filmed over a four‑day schedule, with an additional four days allocated to editing.
