Summary
Fifty years after the disappearance of giant monsters, humanity had progressed sufficiently to begin sustained exploration of outer space. The crew of the vessel Space Pendragon was dispatched to Planet Boris following the unexplained cessation of all communications from the colony established there. Upon arrival, the team discovered that the planet was now overrun by monsters and that every nearby settlement had been destroyed. Forced to remain on Boris while awaiting reinforcements, the crew undertook an investigation into the planet’s history and the circumstances surrounding its apparent resurgence of kaiju activity. During this period, a monster tamer named Rei, whose origins and personal history were largely unknown, joined the organisation ZAP SPACY in an effort to uncover the truth about his past.
