Summary
Hoshikawa Airlines pilot Jun Majome (Sahara) supplements his aviation career by writing science fiction, often drawing inspiration from investigations into unusual phenomena undertaken with his co‑pilot Ippei (Saijo) and newspaper photographer Yuriko (Sakurai). The group frequently consults Professor Inchinotani (Egawa), a respected scientist whose expertise assists their inquiries.
Their work brings them into contact with Gomess, a creature portrayed using a modified Godzilla suit, who emerges from hibernation at a tunnel construction site. His natural adversary, the prehistoric bird Ultra, proves to be the only force capable of halting his rampage. Within this fictional world, numerous events remain beyond the reach of contemporary scientific explanation. Humanity faces mounting danger as monsters appear in response to ecological imbalance caused by human activity, while additional threats arrive through alien incursions. Jun and his companions repeatedly encounter these anomalies, compelling them to confront each crisis despite possessing no superhuman abilities.
