Summary
Earth enters an unusually prolonged era of stability, with no sightings of Chaos Header or the destructive monsters that had long threatened global security. This calm ends when a dense concentration of Chaos Header energy is detected at Point P87 within the solar system, signalling preparations for the entity’s largest assault. The energy mass descends upon Earth and manifests as Chaos Ultraman, a being previously believed to have been defeated by Ultraman Cosmos.
Team EYES mobilises to confront the threat, but Chaos Ultraman’s counterattack forces Tech Spinner One, piloted by Fubuki, and Tech Spinner Four, piloted by Musashi, to crash. The invader then advances toward the SRC Science Centre, where Doigaki and Professor Hazumi are developing Chaos Chimera, an advanced anti‑Chaos Header weapon. Declaring that "Team EYES will protect the Earth against any invasion," Captain Hiura prepares his unit for a final defensive stand.
Chaos Ultraman unleashes a powerful beam attack, but Ultraman Cosmos reappears, initiating a fierce battle. Cosmos shifts into Eclipse Mode and destroys Chaos Ultraman with the Cosmium Beam. Immediately afterward, a vast light emerges in the sky, heralding the arrival of Calamity, a new and more formidable Chaos Ultraman. Cosmos is forced to confront the greatest danger he has yet faced.
